I had no Driving knowledge before joining the course at Bahati VTC. The hands-on training, especially I n driving and knowing road signs gave me the confidence to be a qualified driver.
This course equips learners with competencies required to learn traffic rules, road safety, parts of the motor vehicle, modern board practice, and hands-on driving techniques to ensure you become a safe and professional driver.
Graduates of this course will be awarded a nationally recognized driving license upon successful completion of an examination by NTSA.

Training Format
Face-to-face, instructor-led sessions supported by hands-on vehicle for practice. The course may include short projects, group work, and assessments. Blended learning (in-person + online) may be used where applicable.
Minimum entry requirements
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be considered for candidates with informal Driving experience
- Applicants should demonstrate basic literacy and numeracy skills
- National ID or valid identification document.
- Passport-sized photos for registration.
- Personal stationery (notebooks, pens, etc.).
- Willingness to adhere to the institution's code of conduct and class attendance policy

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, trainees will possess practical skills and technical knowledge to state the functions of different road signs, name different parts of the vehicle and their functions, and use a modern board and drive.
- Interpret and apply basic signs.
- Ability to drive on modern board.
- Ability to name parts of the vehicle.
- Identify and safely use driving tools, instruments and equipment.
- Diagnose any problem of the vehicle.
- Understand and apply driving safety practices and relevant codes of practice.
- Prepare for trade testing under NTSA certification requirements.
