Kangemi Vocational Training Centre

Kangemi Vocational Training Centre is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution under the Nairobi City County Government. The institution was established in 1983 to provide affordable, accessible, and quality vocational training to youth within Nairobi County and beyond.

Located in Westlands Sub-County, Mt. View Ward, Mt. View Estate next to St. Joseph Primary School along Camphor Street, the Centre plays a key role in empowering youth through technical skills development.

Vision: To be a national vocational training centre of choice in imparting technical skills.

Mission: To empower youths with vocational skills for self-reliance.

  • Curriculum Development Assessment and Certification Council (CDACC/CBET)
  • Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) where applicable.
