This course equips trainees with foundational and industry-recognized skills in hairdressing and beauty therapy as outlined in the NITA syllabi. Learners are trained in hair care, styling, braiding, manicure, pedicure, facials, and basic salon management. The program emphasizes hygiene, customer service, and practical competence in preparation for trade tests (Grade III-I) certification, enabling graduates to work in salons, spas or start their own beauty enterprises.

Training Format
Face-to-face, instructor-led sessions supported by hands-on hairdressing and beauty workshop practice. The course may include short projects, group work, and assessments. Blended learning (in-person + online) may be used where applicable.
Minimum entry requirements
Willingness to adhere to the institution's code of conduct and class attendance policy.
Equipment available at institution
Blow dryer, hairdryer, UV light, hairwash basin, barbering machine.
Upon successful completion of the course, the trainee will demonstrate practical competence in hair and beauty services in accordance with national standards and trade test requirements, ready for employment or self-employment in the beauty industry.
