The Driving School course is a short-term, intensive training program designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and discipline required to operate motor vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with NTSA guidelines.
Over a period of 2 months, the course blends classroom theory, practical driving sessions, and road safety education. Internal evaluations are conducted to assess learner readiness before proceeding to the official NTSA driving test. 

The course is divided into two key sections:
1.    Theory Instruction
2.    Practical Driving Training

Application fee: KES 10,500.00

Test booking fee: KES 1,050.00

Minimum entry requirements

Age Requirement:

  • 18 years for light vehicles (Class B)
  • 20 years and above for Commercial and Public Service Vehicles (PSV)

 

Other Requirements

  • Valid national ID or passport
  • Certificate of good conduct (for commercial or PSV drivers)
  • Physically and mentally fit to operate a motor vehicle
  • Basic literacy and ability to understand traffic signs
  • Passport-size photographs (as required by NTSA)

  • Final Examination (NTSA):

    • Upon passing, learner is issued a provisional driving license
    • After a probation period, a full NTSA Driving License is awarded
